Fees and Discounts

 

From 1st April 2010:

For narrowboats and cruiser's, a standard all inclusive fee of £120.

This includes:

  • BSS Examination
  • BSS Certificate
  • Travel costs within areas specified

If a Retest is required a small charge may be required to cover expenses on a return visit.

Area's Inclusive of Travel:

Shropshire Union Canal;

  • Ellesmere Port to Market Drayton

Llangollen Canal;

  • Hurleston to Whitchurch

Bridgewater Canal;

  • Runcorn to Preston Brook

Trent and Mersy Canal;

  • Preston Brook to Sandbach

Weaver Navigation;

  • Marsh Lock to Winsford

Outside these area's I can advise what travel costs may be incurred and wherever possible will try to minimise this.

Discounts apply to the following:

  • Craft without LPG
  • Craft with a single outboard engine

Additional costs apply to the following:

  • Craft with twin engines

 

Payment is required on completion of the examination by cheque or cash.
